Since beginning my semester break, I have continued working full time. At times it feels never ending with all the school work and outside work. I decided to take a week off of working and fly out to Georgia to visit my adorable niece and sister.
It is really interesting to me how in land use planning we spoke a lot about greenbelts and in my sister’s neighborhood around Grant Park in the ATL there are a lot of neighborhoods advocating to preserve their “beltline” which is essential a greenbelt.
The whole Smart Growth trend is taking hold here in Georgia which is really refreshing to see outside of suburban Thousand Oaks.
Besides the land planning aspect of Georgia its nice to get out of CA for a little!
